Medical and parental bags and clear bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” are required to go through security screening. Where can I buy tickets?
Please visit www.TheAlaskaAirlinesCenter.com or the Alaska Airlines Center Box Office to purchase tickets. Paciolan is the only authorized ticket-selling agent of The Alaska Airlines Center. The Alaska Airlines Center cannot be responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other source and will not honor counterfeit and other invalid tickets. Do I need a ticket for my child?
Children 3 years of age and older require a ticket to enter the arena and must occupy their ticketed seat only. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) will have a different age policy. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information.
Can I take public transportation to The Alaska Airlines Center?
Yes! The Alaska Airlines Center is in the middle of the U-Med district with bus services steps away.
What is the closest parking lot?
The Main South Lot of the Alaska Airlines Center is the closest lot. Please see our Directions & Parking page for details on public transportation, direction and additional parking. We highly recommend arriving early for any event. The lot will fill up fast. And remember, most events you have to pay for parking.
If I am not driving, where is the best place to be dropped off?
Please obey all posted signs when dropping off patrons. There are areas designated for drop-off and pick-up. Taxis, Buses and Limousines must drop-off and pick-up passengers in these designated areas. The pick-up/drop-off areas are right in front of the Alaska Airlines Center on the South Side. Please see Directions & Parking page for detailed map.
Are cameras allowed inside The Alaska Airlines Center?
Yes! Non-professional, non-flash, still photography is permitted at most events (disposable, digital, or 35mm cameras with no interchangeable or telephoto lens). Video and audio recording is prohibited. Please note that some shows will have a different camera policy. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information. Camera bags of any size are not permitted as we do not allow bags inside The Alaska Airlines Center.

I have special dietary restrictions. Can I bring my own food or beverages inside The Alaska Airlines Center?
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the arena.
When do the doors open for an event?
Door opening times for The Alaska Airlines Center events will vary according to each event. Please visit the specific event page for details. Generally at least one hour prior to scheduled event start time.
Am I allowed to leave the venue and come back?
Typically not. There is a no re-entry policy for ticketed events.
Where can I smoke inside or near The Alaska Airlines Center?
The Alaska Airlines Center is a smoke-free venue, and the University of Alaska Anchorage is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is not permitted in the arena at any time, including all outdoor patios and terraces.
Is there a Lost and Found at The Alaska Airlines Center?
Yes! All lost and found items are taken to Guest Services. To inquire about a lost item please contact Guest Services with a description of the item and the date it was lost.

To prepare for your visit, please see the general accessibility information below and don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email with any questions. If you need assistance while attending an event, just go to the guest services kiosk or ask the nearest representative.
Tickets & Seating
The Alaska Airlines Center offers a wide variety of accessible seating, located in various sections throughout the arena, with options to accommodate limited mobility, visual and hearing impaired, and wheelchair accessible areas. Patrons requiring assistance should contact The Alaska Airlines Center in advance of their visit with questions or concerns.
For accessible seating purchases, you may call our Box Office and specify you require accessible seating options, come directly to the Alaska Airlines Center during normal business hours or visit www.TheAlaskaAirlinesCenter.com, select your event and click on the accessible seating option.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)
A limited number of Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available for guests with hearing impairments. They may be checked out, free of charge, by contacting the nearest guest services representative. ALDs are not recommended for use during concerts due to the volume level. Guests will be required to leave a valid, government-issued photo ID as a deposit while using the ALD. To request additional reasonable accommodations or services, please contact us at 907-786-7850 as far in advance as possible.
Service Animals
Only trained service animals or service animals in training will be allowed into the The Alaska Airlines Center. All other animals, including pets and comfort animals, are prohibited. Guests with service dogs may not take up additional seats unless a ticket has been purchased for the adjacent seat for the service dog.
Elevators
The Alaska Airlines Center has a public elevator located on the South side of the facility in the Main Lobby. This elevator provides access to the arena floor level, the concourse, the balcony and the Suites/Restaurant level.
Escorts
Wheelchair escorts may be available upon request at all entry points, based on availability. Personal assistance into or out of a wheelchair or seat cannot be provided. In order to assist multiple guests, please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during the event. The Alaska Airlines Center cannot provide wheelchair transportation outside of the arena.
Wheelchair Seating Locations
Guests with disabilities and their companions (max: 3 guests) may purchase wheelchair space locations that are dispersed throughout the facility in numerous price ranges. These tickets are available at the time of event onsale. Please refer to the above-listed phone numbers for seating inquiries.
Restrooms
All public The Alaska Airlines Center restrooms have accessible stalls for our guests. In addition, a private restroom is located on the South West side of the main concourse near the Box Office. These restrooms are provided to accommodate guests with disabilities and their companion. These restrooms also serve families with small children who need assistance.
Building Policies
- No Outside Food or Drink Allowed
- No Re-entry for ticketed events
- No Smoking, E-cig, vaping, marijuana or pipes inside or outside of the venues at any time
- No Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to: Firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, batons, fireworks, knives, chains, pepper spray, laser pointers
- No Balloons of any kind
- No Noisemakers
- No large bags or backpacks, purses, coolers, wrapped gifts, briefcases, laptops, iPads, tablets, or selfie sticks.
- Only small clutches Allowed (smaller than 4.5×6 inches only) Approximately the size of a hand.
- No professional cameras, cameras with detachable lenses, video and or audio recording devices including GoPros
